All such patient must be given facilities for online booking instead of purchase from counter which involve lots of fatigue for the patient. Now since all passengers have to link to adhaar , u can once check the details & results can be linked once for a period depending upon illness

What is the use of such concessions if the patient cannot avail online ? In my view the purpose of relief to patients is defeated.

I can believe that there is a lack of awareness that is causing non-usage of privileges like this one. I wasn’t aware that there were special concessions for patients until I started doing some research. I got interested in learning more after stumbling across a travel blog that talked about a topic similar to this.

My child 9 years suffering from Wilson disease (a very rare life threatening disease, which requires liver transplantation of 25 lakhs to 35 Lakhs expense, and is done) seeks railway concession to travel from Dhanbad to Delhi, but very shocked to know that liver transplant is not covered under railway concession.

Kindly add Liver Transplant, as after transplant the patient (recipient) is asked to follow up every 15 days for one year, and they need sterile environment while travelling.
