Q1. All IRCTC trains were canceled because of the COVID-19 outbreak. How will I get my refund amount?

A: No need to panic over refunds!  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indian Railways has announced refund relaxation on all train ticket bookings. All relaxation announcements by Indian Railways will be given to the users. At RailYatri, we assure you, full fare will be credited back into users’ accounts from which payment was made.

Q2. I already canceled my ticket before the train cancellation announcement, will I still receive a full refund?

Q5. Can I book train tickets post 17th May? What happens if the lockdown extends? 

A: Update! The Indian Railways has given a clarification that ticket booking and reservations for journeys post May 17th was never stopped during the lockdown. Since the advance reservation period for booking tickets is 120 days, train ticket bookings for 18th May and beyond will remain open. During this difficult time, RailYatri is closely monitoring the Government/ IRCTC guidelines and will adhere to all instructions during the lockdown period.
