Indian Railways have started additional special trains for Ganesh Chaturthi festival 2020

Its time for double celebrations for the devotees of Lord Ganesha! Indian Railways has decided to run additional Ganpati Special Trains. These Special Ganpati trains will run in coordination with the Central Railway (CR) & Western Railway (WR) covering regions from Ahmedabad / Vadodara & Ratnagiri / Kudal / Sawantwadi Road stations. The spectacular Ganesh Chaturthi festival is celebrated for 10 days. The festival is celebrated widely in the state of Maharashtra – spreading to other states like Gujarat, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, etc.

The Central Railway will run 162 special trips starting August 15 till September 5. The Western Railway will run 20 services between August 17 till August 27.

A detailed list of Special Ganpati trains running especially for the festival are as under:

1. 01101 Mumbai CSMT Sawantwadi Road Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 23:05 and will reach Sawantwadi Road (SWV) at 09:30 next day. This train will run daily from 15 to 22 August 2020.
2. 01102 Sawantwadi Road Mumbai CSMT Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Sawantwadi Road (SWV) at 10:00 and will reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 21:40 same day. This train will run daily from 16 to 23 August 2020.
3. 01103 Mumbai LTT Kudal Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) at 23:50 and will reach Kudal (KUDL) at 10:30 next day. This train will run daily from 15 to 22 August 2020.
4. 01104 Kudal Mumbai LTT Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Kudal (KUDL) at 12:00 and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) at 23:00 same day. This train will run daily from 16 to 23 August 2020.
5. 01105 Mumbai CSMT Sawantwadi Road Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 22:00 and will reach Sawantwadi Road (SWV) at 08:10 next day. This train will run daily from 15 to 22 August 2020.
6. 01106 Sawantwadi Road Mumbai CSMT Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Sawantwadi Road (SWV) at 08:50 and will reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 20:05 same day. This train will run daily from 16 to 23 August 2020.
7. 01107 Mumbai LTT Ratnagiri Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) at 20:30 and will reach Ratnagiri (RN) at 04:00 next day. This train will run daily from 15 to 22 August 2020.
8. 01108 Ratnagiri Mumbai LTT Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Ratnagiri (RN) at 06:30 and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) at 14:20 next day. This train will run daily from 16 to 23 August 2020.
9. 01109 Mumbai CSMT Sawantwadi Road Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 07:10 and will reach Sawantwadi Road (SWV) at 19:15 next day. This train will run daily from 25 August to 05 September 2020.
10. 01110 Sawantwadi Road Mumbai CSMT Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Sawantwadi Road (SWV) at 20:35 and will reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 06:45 next day. This train will run daily from 25 August to 05 September 2020.
11. 01111 Mumbai CSMT Sawantwadi Road Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 05:50 and will reach Sawantwadi Road (SWV) at 16:15 next day. This train will run daily from 25 August to 05 September 2020.

15. 01115 Mumbai LTT Ratnagiri Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) at 11:55 and will reach Ratnagiri (RN) at 19:00 next day. This train will run daily from 25 August to 05 September 2020.
16. 01116 Ratnagiri Mumbai LTT Ganapati Special will leave from its source station Ratnagiri (RN) at 20:30 and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) at 04:15 next day. This train will run daily from 25 August to 05 September 2020.
